Peiling Junek

I came to yoga in January 2009 as a skeptic of the discipline, compelled to the mat by the prodding of an older sibling and a great New Year’s deal on classes. It didn’t take long for me to recognize the many benefits of yoga on body, mind, and spirit. I completed a 200-hr RYT training at Kula Yoga Project in NYC under the auspices of Nikki Vilella and Schuyler Grant in February 2013. I completed further studies in December 2015 and May 2016 with Threes Physiyoga and Iyengar teacher Nikki Costello, respectively. This breadth of training allows me to teach a creative, challenging, alignment-based vinyasa flow, as well as slower-paced sequences targeting specific needs (pregnancy, injuries, pre-existing conditions, etc.) to a wide variety of students. I believe that yoga is an invaluable and versatile practice that can transform and ground us through all phases of life. My goal as a teacher is to provide a safe space for students to explore their evolving yoga practices.
