(Suggested props: any chair or bench. If you don't have a chair or bench grab two blocks. 2 blankets-if you have a bolster grab one but if you don't your two blankets can easily be rolled into a bolster. Most of class doesn't use any props, but the beginning will have prop set ups which you can modify with things in your house if need be).

This class will get at your shoulders from all angles! Give you a new take on core stabilization and work your back chain in prep for inversions and handstands. Class finishes off with a "celestial savanna" where the head can float as you rest.

(Int/Adv) Kula Flow is vinyasa (or flow) style yoga with an emphasis on creativity and alignment. Classes are inventive and thoughtful sequences of sun salutations, standing & seated postures, back bending, and inversions—guided by a steady breath to tone and calm the mind. Most teachers also use bandha work to open and strengthen the inner body. (Classes differ in tone and vigor depending on the teacher, so if you have special needs/interests please contact [email protected].) For students with a regular yoga practice.
