The Redefining The Breath course includes a robust written and video curriculum, as well as two live Zoom sessions on Saturday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 23rd from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, Pacific Time.

What is it?
This is a comprehensive online course that explores the science of breathing, and how it affects our nervous system, our emotions and behaviors.  

How does it differ from what else is out there?
This course offers practical and accessible information regarding how the breath affects us at a neurological, physiological, and psychological level.  We will simplify complex material and make it digestible for everyone.  

Who is it for?
This course is for teachers, trainers, and practitioners.  But it’s also for anyone who has suffered trauma, anxiety, depression or chronic stress.  It could also be used to increase performance in competitive sports or recreational activities.   It simply offers science-based tools that have been proven to impact neurological state - so the course is for anyone who wants to learn how to control their nervous system and live better in their body.

Who is it NOT for?
Those who are not interested in the WHY or the HOW.  This course focuses heavily on mechanism - why we choose to breathe a certain way and how the breath impacts our state, for example.  Understanding the mechanism behind the various breath techniques we’ll learn will be as important as the techniques themselves.  We need to know how to apply them and under what circumstances.
